Arsenal explores Kenan Yildiz move amid Gabriel Martinelli swap talks

Football gossip: Yildiz, Jackson, Allan, Wharton, Mateta, Martinelli, Dias

Arsenal are reportedly exploring a move for Juventus and Turkey winger Kenan Yildiz. This comes as the Premier League champions have made fresh inquiries about the player, with discussions also involving Gabriel Martinelli.

According to reports, Arsenal has been in contact with Yildiz’s representatives to assess his situation. The 21-year-old is understood to be receptive to a move to The Emirates. However, securing a deal for Yildiz presents a significant challenge as he signed a new long-term contract with Juventus earlier this year. Juventus views Yildiz as an untouchable asset during the current transfer window, which has only two weeks remaining before the deadline.

Despite the difficulties, Arsenal‘s recruitment department reportedly places Yildiz in a similar category to Morgan Rogers, another player they pursued earlier this summer before he joined Chelsea. Arsenal remains focused on adding a new left-sided attacking option, having missed out on several key targets, including Vinicius Junior and Yan Diomande.

The possibility of a swap deal involving Gabriel Martinelli has emerged. Juventus is understood to have an interest in Martinelli and Gabriel Jesus, both of whom Arsenal are reportedly prepared to consider moving on this summer. If Juventus demonstrates genuine intent to sign either Martinelli or Jesus, a broader deal that includes Yildiz could be explored by the two clubs. However, this remains a hypothetical scenario, as Juventus continues to maintain that Yildiz is not for sale.

Arsenal‘s fresh inquiry into Yildiz underscores their continued interest in the Turkey international. While pursuing Yildiz, Arsenal is also working on alternative options for the left side of their attack. The club is set to begin their Premier League title defence on Friday evening, hosting newly-promoted Coventry City at Emirates Stadium.

In other transfer news, Atletico Madrid is working to finalize the signing of Senegal striker Nicolas Jackson, 25, from Chelsea. Manchester City is in discussions to acquire Brazilian winger Allan Elias, 22, from Palmeiras. Manchester City also reportedly inquired about the availability of England midfielder Adam Wharton, 22, but their approach was rebuffed by Crystal Palace.

Tottenham is reportedly eyeing a move for France striker Jean-Philippe Mateta, 29, from Crystal Palace. Meanwhile, Inter Milan is interested in signing Brazil forward Gabriel Martinelli, 25, from Arsenal. AC Milan is concentrating on signing a centre-back, with Manchester City‘s Portugal defender Ruben Dias, 29, emerging as a potential target.

Bayer Leverkusen‘s Burkina Faso centre-back Edmond Tapsoba, 27, has been identified as a leading defensive target for Manchester United, Tottenham, and Newcastle. France defender Axel Disasi, 28, is reportedly nearing a loan move from Chelsea to Crystal Palace. Barcelona has not yet made an offer for Argentina striker Lautaro Martinez, 28, and Inter Milan is reportedly not looking to sell him.

Barcelona is also considering Spain forward Ayoze Perez, 33, and Georgia forward Georges Mikautadze, 25, both of whom play for Villarreal. Several clubs, including Liverpool, Everton, and Leeds United, are monitoring Midtjylland‘s 22-year-old Chile winger Dario Osorio. Ipswich Town and Nottingham Forest are among the clubs reportedly considering a move for Chelsea‘s English striker Liam Delap, 23.

Manchester United is focusing on signing a new left-back, with Racing Santander‘s 19-year-old Spaniard Jorge Salinas as a candidate, as Newcastle is reportedly disinclined to sell England left-back Lewis Hall, 21. Arsenal‘s pursuit of Kenan Yildiz is ongoing, with the transfer deadline approaching.
